5-Step Blueprint Guide for Changing Your Life

  09/08/2017

Stop for a moment right now and think to yourself: are you the person you want to be? Do you ever stop and reflect on where you are in life, and find yourself dissatisfied and unhappy with it? If you’re someone in your 20s today, you are most certainly not alone. The good news is: there are ways for you to advance past this and change your life.

Here’s a 5-step blueprint guide for making it happen:

  1. Envision Who You Want to Be

This is the easiest part of the guide. Sit down and really identify who you want to be. What does this person look like? What do they want to achieve? Really think about your answers.

  1. Identify Necessary Changes

Obviously, changes are going to have to happen for you to get to this place. If your new self is a thinner, cleaner version than your present self, you’ll need to identify the lifestyle, fitness, and nutrition changes that need to happen. Follow this pattern for all of your changes.

  1. Break it Down

Make it manageable on yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Don’t be unrealistic about these changes; break them down into tiny steps with completion dates that help you see the light at the end of the tunnel.

  1. Work Every Day

You’re going to need to work towards your goals every single day. You can’t lose focus on the light ahead. Be sure to make improvements, no matter how small, every day.

  1. Make Bigger Steps

Though smaller steps are important for the bigger picture, it’s also a good thing to have these bigger steps envisioned. You need to know what you’re really working for – that way, the harder challenges won’t be so defeating.

After all this, you have to GO for it! Get out there and don’t be afraid of the setbacks.
